Child/Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry
Dr. Annie Sze Yan Li is a board certified, Cornell/Columbia trained adult and child psychiatrist with extensive experience providing psychiatric care to youths and their families. Dr. Li collaborates with each individual and builds partnership with parents and families to identify the best evidenced based treatment. In her practice, she incorporates both pharmacological and non-pharmacological psychotherapy based approaches. Dr. Li also provides care to the Chinese community in Cantonese. She is a member of the Weill Cornell Physician Organization in Psychiatry.
Training / Affiliation
Dr. Li is currently on faculty at Weill Cornell Medical College as Assistant Professor in Psychiatry and is Assistant Attending at New York Presbyterian Hospital – Weill Cornell Medical Center for the Pediatric Psychiatry Consultation-Liaison Service. Dr. Li graduated summa cum laude from Stony Brook University with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and received her medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed her general psychiatry residency at NYP-Weill Cornell Medical Center, as well as a psychoanalytic fellowship at the New York Psychoanalytic Institute. Her interest in working with children and adolescents led her to receive subspecialty fellowship training at the combined program of Columbia and Cornell Universities. Prior to joining the Cornell faculty, Dr. Li served as Medical Director for the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Inpatient Services at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Maine, overseeing the acute inpatient psychiatric care for youths ranging from 5-18 years of age.

Payment / Insurance
Dr. Li does not accept insurance. Initial consultation fee for adults is $500 for 1 hour evaluation, for children/adolescents is $800 for 2 hour evaluation. Follow up appointments take under an hour and cost $375.

Please review with your insurance plan to determine if you are eligible for out of network benefits. Dr. Li is an out of network provider and belongs to the Cornell Physician Organization – Psychiatry. Being an out of network provider gives Dr. Li the flexibility and time to be comprehensive in your care. Full payment is due at time of appointment. Dr. Li can provide properly coded receipts, but cannot be held responsible for any non-reimbursed fees.

Cancellation Fees
In an effort to provide better care, please give Dr. Li notice at least 24 hours in advance if you will not be able to make your appointment. Failure to cancel in advance will result in a cancellation fee of $100. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
